Iván Ares is off the battle for the victory Rally Princesa de Asturias-City of Oviedo after suffering a road exit in the final stretch of the first pass to the section of Colunga, the longest of this 56 edition, with 23.81 kilometers . The best time has been marked again by the Asturian pilot José Antonio Suárez Cohete, with 16: 52,300.

Ares has reached the end of TC8 with a delay of more than three minutes on Rocket, which has taken a turn in the classification. Rocket is leader with a total time of 1: 09: 13,300. Surhayén Pernía has moved to second place, with a global time of 1: 11: 50,600.
